Martyn Gates courses have included IP workflows (SMPTE 2022) to BT TV, BT Sport, ITV and ITV Sport and Timeline Television, OB electrical engineering for Race Tech, bespoke courses for Gibraltar TV and targeted interventions for Buena Vista Home Entertainment and at Formula One Management.

One of Martin Uren’s specialisms is the ability to explain complex technical principles to a range of audiences who can vary from being completely non-technical to senior engineers who need the underpinning knowledge to assess what’s behind the latest technical developments e.g.  VR, AR, UHD, WCG, HFR and HDR.

Martin has also delivered advanced compression technologies for investigating officers who deal with security footage for the Metropolitan Police and the basics of compression, video and image formats to Deluxe. He has also run courses for junior staff on colorimetry and perception relating to grading and compliance.

Michael O’Sullivan has written two undergraduate degrees dealing with Management in the Creative Industries and Interactive Media Production. He has also overseen the creation and role out of on-line interactive assessment programmes for UK regulatory institutes.

Nick Way is an experienced sound engineer and trainer. He has worked in the UK and overseas for clients including BBC Media Action, BBC Training & Development, ITV, SIS Live and OBS working on projects such as the London and Rio Olympics and Paralympics, FIFA World Cup and the Delhi Commonwealth Games. He has also had articles published on technical standards and accreditation and sound for OB and cameras.
