Welcome to DTT

What we do…

Initially, we were a traditional training company, focused on high-end broadcast engineering and technology, however we are constantly exploring new options and directions and now offer instructional design, eLearning and bespoke training solutions across a range of disciplines and topics from entry-level to Masters, using SCORM compliant (the industry standard) courses and programmes using Articulate Storyline and Rise, on time and on budget..

Graphic from recent campaign

We have worked with subject matter experts on digital technology and engineering, underpinning knowledge for minor surgical procedures and mental health in the workplace, we have also contributed modules on driver record keeping and H & S to larger projects.

More recently, we have leveraged our skills and knowledge in image and graphic design to offer eye-catching visual imagery for Facebook and Instagram campaigns.

We can manage the whole process from working with subject matter experts and initial storyboarding through commissioning scripts, booking Voice Over talent (and studio space), we can edit audio and video content and create graphics.

We have designed programmes for a diverse portfolio of clients including broadcasters, cosmetic surgery and recruitment companies and a major academic institution.

We can add assessment and competency elements to track learners progress either mapped against external metrics or meeting internal standards and KPIs.

We have also delivered bespoke training for several clients including ITV Sport, ITN and the BBC.

Prior to establishing DTT, Michael worked for many years in the City of London before the advent of computerised trading led him to look for new challenges. He left to run the UK arm of educational software and training company before becoming a freelance consultant.

Bespoke design for eLearning programme

He has also run large publicly funded projects focused on the training and professional development of freelancers and other professionals in the broadcast and media industries.

More recently he has written two undergraduate degree courses covering Management in the Creative Industries and Interactive Media Production and has worked as a consultant on commercial engagement with educational institutions.
